TOXCENTER enhanced	17. December 2002
Over 300,000 records from 14 U.S. government files have been added to the TOXCENTER database. The new files now available are:

The PCTFULL File on STN now covers the full text of PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) published applications issued under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) from 1978 to date, i.e. it now covers the complete period of time that WO applications exist. CSA files on STN	11. December 2002
Recently there have been questions about the status of the files produced by CSA, formerly Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, on STN. STN has a strong relationship with CSA, and the CSA files will continue to be available on STN.

REGISTRY: More calculated properties added	07. December 2002
Calculated values for six additional physical properties are being added to single-component organic molecules in REGISTRY/ZREGISTRY on STN and are available for search and display.

TIBKAT removed	28. November 2002
TIBKAT will be removed from STN as of December 31, 2002.

DKILIT: renamed into APOLLIT	12. November 2002
FIZ Karlsruhe changes the name of its database DKILIT (DKI Literature) into APPLIED POLYMERS LITERATURE. The new STN file name is APOLLIT. The old file name DKILIT will stay valid as a synonym, e.g. to enter the file with the STN FILE command.

ChemPort enhanced for direct access to electr. patent documents	20. October 2002
From 6 Oct 2002 the ChemPort Connection provides STN Customers in Europe the capability to buy electronic patent documents in PDF format via a new FIZ Karlsruhe service in addition to the existing CAS service.
