New Patent Family Database INPAFAMDB added to STN	25. May 2008
As a companion file to the INPADOCDB file, the new patent family file INPAFAMDB has been released on STN.

IMSRESEARCH reloaded with enhancements	29. April 2008
IMS LifeCycle, R&D Focus (IMSRESEARCH) has been reloaded with enhancements, including new substance origin and administration information displayed in the Controlled Term (CT) field.

EMBASE Controlled Term thesaurus enhanced	28. April 2008
The Controlled Term (CT) thesaurus available in Excerpta Medica (EMBASE) has been enhanced to allow the use of major descriptors with SEARCH and EXPAND commands.

New display formats for Derwent WPI	08. April 2008
The Derwent World Patents Index database (files WPINDEX, WPIDS, and WPIX) has now been equipped with new display formats HITCODE, HITCMC, HITPLE, and HITPLC. CA/CAplus CASREACT patent number format for U.S. applications updated	01. April 2008
CA/CAplus and CASREACT now include 11 character patent numbers for U.S. applications. The 11 character format is consistent with that used by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other key STN patent resources, including Derwent World Patents Index (DWPI) and INPADOCDB.

EMBASE, EMBAL, LEMBASE reloaded with enhancements	01. April 2008
Excerpta Medica (EMBASE), EMBASE Alert (EMBAL), and the EMBASE learning database (LEMBASE) have been reloaded and enhanced with more comprehensive information in the Author (AU) and Corporate Source (CS) fields:

IFICDB, IFIPAT, IFIUDB enhanced with new custom IPC display formats	01. April 2008
Two new custom display formats for International Patent Classification (IPC) codes have been added to IFI Comprehensive Database (IFICDB), IFI Patent Database (IFIPAT), and IFI Uniterm Database (IFIUDB):

CAS REGISTRY enhanced with additional experimental spectra	01. April 2008
Since the beginning of 2008, approximately 204,000 experimental spectra have been added to REGISTRY, including:
