New IPC8 search, display, and select fields in USPATFULL/USPAT2	17. December 2005
With the addition of IPC8 codes for patents and the first additional of IPCs reclassification due to IPC reform, the following search and display enhancements are available in USPATFULL/USPAT2 starting on December 18, 2005.

MARPATprev will be removed from STN	13. December 2005
Effective December 31, 2005, MARPATprev will no longer be produced and will be removed from STN.

CA/CAplus to be enhanced with updated IPC codes	10. December 2005
Beginning in January 2006, the IPC codes in many of the patent records in the CA/CAplus family of databases will be changed from the current IPC7 version to the new IPC8 version. This reflects the IPC Reform initiated by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

2006 MeSH terms loaded for MEDLINE file segment of TOXCENTER	08. December 2005
Effective December 11, 2005, the 2006 MeSH terms were loaded for the MEDLINE file segment of TOXCENTER; however, daily updates for the MEDLINE file segment on December 9 and 10 for the MEDLINE file segments were not provided by the producer.

2006 MeSH terms loaded in MEDLINE/LMEDLINE	06. December 2005
Effective December 11, 2005, the 2006 MeSH terms were loaded in MEDLINE/LMEDLINE; however, daily updates on December 9 and 10 were not provided by the database producer.

CASREACT®: over 10 million reactions available	05. December 2005
CASREACT now contains over 10 million reactions. This includes over 4.2 million single-step reactions and nearly 5.8 multi-step reactions.

REGISTRY/ ZREGISTRY on STN® enhanced with experimental spectral property data	03. December 2005
Effective the week of November 21, 2005, two new sets of experimental spectral property data are now available in REGISTRY/ZREGISTRY. These new data sets include:

Expanded coverage of German academic research	16. November 2005
Coverage of German dissertations and Habilitationen is now available in CA/CAplus.

Free KWIC format extended in full-text files	21. October 2005
As of October 23, 2005, the KWIC format will be free of charge for all fields that contribute to the Basic Index, including abstract and full-text fields, in PCTFULL, EPFULL, GBFULL, FRFULL, and PATDPAFULL.
