MEDLINE year-end processing temporarily halts availability of new fully-indexed citations

NLM is currently involved in the annual MEDLINE year-end processing (YEP). These processing activities include changing the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) and Supplementary Concept Substance Names on existing MEDLINE citations to conform to the 2009 version of MeSH. While daily updates are continuing, the great majority of records included within them are unindexed. Indexing terms from the 2009 version of MeSH are expected to be added to many of these records in mid-December. Additional announcements will be made when there is more information to share.
