File STANDARDS on STN

STANDARDS, the international standards database, produced by Deutsches Informationszentrum fuer Technische Regeln (DITR) German Information Center for for Technical Rules, a division of DIN, the German Institute for Standardisation, is available on STN as of 2 December 2001.

STANDARDS is a bibliographic database containing citations to German, Austrian, Swiss, French, US, Japanese, European and international standards, guidelines and other regulations. Citations contain bibliographic information, indexing (International Classification for Standards (ICS) with texts in German and English), and partly abstracts. Abstracts are available either in German or English, in many cases in both languages. The file contains more than 410,000 records, Update and SDI frequency is monthly.
