SSL VPN - Requirements
Software:
STN Express with Discover!:
- STN Express with Discover! starting from V7.X is recommended
- STN Express with Discover! V5.0 and higher may also work, but cannot be guaranteed
Please note that SSL VPN is not supported in case STN Express is setup within a CITRIX environment.
Web Browser:
The SSL VPN solution works with:
- MS Internet Explorer 7, 8 (JRE and MS VM)
- Firefox 3.0, 3.5
Make sure that your web browser has JAVA support (MS VM or SUN JVM), starting from Version 1.5.07 (SUN JAVA) - Version 1.6.x is recommended. 
Further ensure that any "Popup Blocker" is disabled
Operating System:
- Windows XP SP3 32 Bit with MS Internet Explorer 7, 8 or Firefox 3.0, SUN Java 1.6.x
- Windows Vista SP1 32 Bit with MS Internet Explorer 7, 8 or Firefox 3.0, SUN Java 1.6.x
- Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit with MS Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3.5, SUN Java 1.6.x

Firewall Configuration:
- Communication with external systems through Port 443 (HTTPS) must be permitted.
- The use of an HTTP proxy server, including authentication, is supported. In this case the entire traffic will be routed through the proxy server.
Ensure that your JAVA Runtime Environment is configured for the usage of an HTTP proxy server.
