The Crop Protection Registry File is a companion to the Crop Protection File (CROPU). Each record lists the biological activity and chemical substructure characteristics of an individual compound. The database may be used as a standalone file for structure activity searching, for example to generate a list of compounds with a particular structural feature which share a common activity. Compounds selected can then be crossfile searched in the Crop Protection File in order to find all the bibliographic information and abstracts. Sources include journals, conference proceedings, and patents beginning in 1996. Controlled terms, Crop Registry Names, Crop Protection Names, substructure term fields, and Enzyme Commission Numbers are searchable.
