Energy information for practical application
The information service BINE promotes information and knowledge transfer in the field of energy - from research to practical application. This is done in close dialog with many enterprises and institutions involved in funded projects for the development of efficient technologies and renewable energies for practical application. BINE is an information service of FIZ Karlsruhe and co-operates with numerous institutions and organizations from research, teaching, practice, scientific media, and politics. It is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi).
Topical information from research and technology is well researched, concisely edited according to the target groups’ requirements and made available to potential users by the BINE editorial team.
BINE offers three types of information brochures about results and experiences from research and practical application projects:
- Projektinfo
- Themeninfo
- basisEnergieinfo
This information can be ordered on a free subscription basis. BINE publications are offered on the internet and linked to further information and offers (e.g, InfoPlus). Additional information related to projects and practice is provided by the BINE editors' hotline.
The BINE brochures are complemented by the "BINE-Informationspakete" - a book series providing topical information on research results and how to practically apply them. It is published by Verlag Solarpraxis and can be ordered from booksellers or on the BINE homepage.
To plan and realize an energy efficient building; to recover heat for industrial processes, or to integrate renewable energies into existing energy systems are complex and challenging tasks. They require topical and first-class information in order for the right decisions to be made. BINE is a professional partner for planners, consultants and architects, developers, manufacturers and mechanics, people involved in training, and the media.
