FIZ Karlsruhe is an important partner for the worldwide exchange and collection of energy technology information. FIZ Karlsruhe offers academic institutions in Germany free access to ETDEWEB the web version of the ENERGY (energy research and technology) database, and to the web version of the INIS (nuclear science and engineering) database.
The information service BINE promotes information and knowledge transfer in the field of energy - from research to practical application. It is also available free of charge.
FIZ Karlsruhe provides the scientific community with the world's largest database for inorganic crystal structures, ICSD, covering about 100.000 entries. FIZ Karlsruhe offers the ICSD database at special rates for academic institutions.
